Promotion of senior Customs officers to BS-21

In a significant development, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) announced on Friday the promotion of distinguished officers from the Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) from BS-20 to BS-21 on a regular basis, effective immediately.

The following PCS officers have been promoted to BS-21:

1. Muhammad Asghar Khan

2. Muhammad Sadiq

3. Abdul Qadir Memon

4. Asif Saeed Khan Lughmani

5. Muhammad Ali Raza Hanjra

6. Muhammad Imran Khan Mohmand

7. Muhammad Saeed Khan Jadoon

The FBR’s notification outlines that officers presently posted against BS-21 posts on OPS (Own Pay Scale) will actualize their promotions against their respective BS-21 positions. The postings of the remaining officers will be notified separately, demonstrating a commitment to ensuring that these promotions are smoothly implemented.

The officers at Serial No. 1, 4, 5 & 6 will actualize their promotions against Board’s Notification No. 2861-C-I/2021 dated 02.12.2021.
