Lahore, April 24, 2025 — Peshawar Zalmi registered a commanding seven-wicket victory over Lahore Qalandars in the 14th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10, played at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
With this win, Peshawar Zalmi continued their strong momentum in the tournament, showcasing a blend of aggressive bowling and composed batting.
The match began with Zalmi skipper Babar Azam winning the toss and opting to bowl first — a move that paid immediate dividends. The Peshawar Zalmi pace attack, led by the fiery Alzarri Joseph, ripped through Lahore’s top order. Joseph picked up three wickets, including the prized scalps of Fakhar Zaman and Abdullah Shafique. Luke Wood and Hussain Talat also made their mark with two wickets apiece, as Peshawar Zalmi restricted the Qalandars to a modest total of 130.
