The encounter took place at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, where Karachi Kings won the toss and opted to bowl first. Quetta Gladiators faced difficulties in completing their allotted 20 overs, getting all out for 118 runs in 19.1 overs. Saud Shakeel emerged as the top scorer for the Gladiators, contributing 33 runs in 26 balls, while Khwaja Nafay and Jason Roy added 17 and 15 runs, respectively.
The star of the bowling attack for Karachi Kings was Hasan Ali, delivering an outstanding performance by taking four wickets for just 15 runs in his four overs. Zahid Mehmood and Blessing Muzarabani also contributed with two wickets each, restricting Quetta to a modest total.

For Quetta Gladiators, Mohammad Amir, Abrar Ahmed, and Akeal Hosein managed to claim one wicket each, but the Karachi Kings batsmen proved too strong in their pursuit of the relatively modest target.
