Islamabad, February 10, 2025 – Several districts of Punjab are expected to witness light drizzle accompanied by cold weather on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, as winter conditions persist across the province.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the majority of Punjab will experience predominantly cold and dry weather, but certain areas will see variations in atmospheric conditions. Lahore, Sialkot, Attock, Rawalpindi, and Jhelum are likely to witness partly cloudy skies with chances of light rain, wind, and drizzle. In contrast, Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding areas may experience cloudy weather with light rain or even light snowfall.
On Monday night, February 10, similar weather conditions prevailed across Punjab, with cold and dry air dominating most regions. However, Attock, Rawalpindi, and Jhelum saw partly cloudy skies with the possibility of light rain and thunderstorms. Meanwhile, Murree and Galiyat recorded overcast skies, occasional rain showers, and light snowfall, contributing to the wintery feel of the region.
At the national level, the PMD reported that a westerly wave is currently affecting the upper parts of the country, influencing weather patterns in Punjab and other regions.

• Monday: The overall weather across Pakistan remained cold and dry, with certain areas experiencing cloudy skies. Rain and snowfall were reported at isolated locations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Balochistan, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
• Tuesday: Most of the country will continue to experience cold and dry weather, though upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan may receive light rain and light snowfall at scattered locations.
