Realme has officially launched the new Realme Watch S5 in India alongside the Realme 16T smartphone. The latest smartwatch arrives with a premium circular design, AMOLED display, Bluetooth calling support, and long battery life.
The wearable targets users looking for a stylish smartwatch with advanced health tracking and fitness capabilities at an affordable price point. Realme is also focusing heavily on battery performance, claiming the device can last up to 20 days on a single charge.
Realme Watch S5 Features AMOLED Display
The Realme Watch S5 sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466×466 pixels. The screen supports up to 1,000 nits peak brightness, allowing better visibility under direct sunlight.
The smartwatch comes with a circular dial and an aluminum alloy body, giving it a premium appearance. For durability, the front is protected by Panda Glass, while the device is paired with comfortable silica gel straps.
Realme says the watch weighs 49.6 grams including the straps, making it lightweight enough for daily use and fitness activities. The bottom section housing the sensors is built using PVC material.
Advanced Health and Fitness Tracking
The Realme Watch S5 includes a wide range of health monitoring features. Users get heart rate tracking, blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring, sleep tracking, women’s health features, VO2 Max measurement, and daily activity tracking.
Fitness enthusiasts will also benefit from support for more than 110 sports modes. The smartwatch is designed to track various workouts and activities while offering real-time performance insights.
In addition, the watch includes GPS support, helping users accurately track outdoor activities such as walking, running, and cycling without relying entirely on a smartphone.
Battery Life and Connectivity Features
The smartwatch is powered by the ATS3089 chipset, paired with 4GB NAND storage and 16MB RAM. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.4 and Bluetooth calling support.
Realme has equipped the Watch S5 with a 460mAh battery. According to the company, the device can deliver up to 20 days of battery life in Smart mode and around 16 days in regular usage mode.
The smartwatch also features 5ATM water resistance, Always-On Display support, music controls, customizable watch faces, and a functional rotating crown.
The Realme Watch S5 comes in Rock Grey and Sand White colors and will go on sale in India from June 5 at a launch price of $80.
