Newly launched Royal GPX Raptor Plus RZ200 offers a bigger engine and modern features at a price close to Suzuki GR 150.
Royal Power Pakistan has recently introduced the Royal GPX Raptor Plus RZ200 in the local market, expanding its lineup with a sporty 200cc motorcycle.
The newly launched bike has quickly attracted the attention of enthusiasts due to its aggressive styling and feature-packed design. Interestingly, its price is very close to the well-established Suzuki GR 150.
The Suzuki GR 150 has remained one of Pakistan’s popular motorcycles for years, earning a strong reputation for reliability, durability and dependable performance.
Backed by Pak Suzuki’s extensive aftersales network and easy availability of spare parts, the motorcycle continues to be a trusted option for daily commuters and touring riders alike.
However, despite having nearly identical price tags, the Royal GPX Raptor Plus RZ200 offers a larger engine and several modern features that give it an edge on paper.
Price Comparison
The ex-factory price of the Royal GPX Raptor Plus RZ200 stands at Rs540,000, while the Suzuki GR 150 carries an ex-factory price of Rs552,900.
Performance Comparison
The Royal GPX Raptor Plus RZ200 is powered by a 196cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke SOHC engine paired with electronic fuel injection (EFI) and a 6-speed transmission.
The air-cooled setup is designed to deliver smooth acceleration and improved highway cruising performance. It also comes with an 11.5-litre fuel tank.
In comparison, the Suzuki GR 150 features a 149cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke OHC air-cooled engine with CDI ignition. The motorcycle offers both electric and kick-start options and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Feature Comparison
The Royal GPX Raptor Plus RZ200 comes equipped with a full-colour TFT instrument cluster, projector LED headlight, LED taillight, lightweight alloy wheels, split-seat design, rear wheel hugger and a newly designed sport muffler that enhances its sporty appeal.
Meanwhile, the Suzuki GR 150 focuses on practicality and comfort. It offers alloy wheels, front disc brakes, telescopic front suspension, swing-arm rear suspension and a semi-digital instrument cluster featuring digital gear and fuel indicators along with analog speedometer and tachometer.
With a more powerful engine and a broader list of premium features, the Royal GPX Raptor Plus RZ200 presents itself as a strong alternative to the Suzuki GR 150 for buyers seeking performance and modern styling within a similar budget range.
