Samsung’s latest budget phone arrives with a 6.7-inch display, 5,000mAh battery and six years of updates
Samsung has quietly launched the Galaxy A07s in the Levant region, with the budget smartphone already available to purchase in Jordan. The handset previously appeared on the Google Play Console alongside the Galaxy A08 in August, offering an early indication of its upcoming arrival.
The Galaxy A07s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek G99+ chipset built on a 6nm process. It is available with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can also expand the storage through a dedicated microSD card slot.
The smartphone features a 6.7-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The combination is aimed at providing smoother scrolling and animations while keeping the device positioned within the budget segment.
For photography, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A07s with a dual-camera setup on the rear. It consists of a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor. An 8MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.
Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery, which should provide substantial capacity for everyday use. The phone also carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.
Biometric security is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the software side, the Galaxy A07s runs Android 16 with Samsung’s One UI interface. Samsung is also promising six years of operating system and security updates, giving the budget handset an unusually long software support period for its category.
Connectivity and other features include dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB Type-C port. Samsung has also retained a 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing users to connect wired headphones without an adapter.
The Galaxy A07s is currently available to buy in Jordan through Samsung’s local website. Buyers can choose between Black, Green and Light Violet colour options.
Samsung has yet to provide broader international availability details for the Galaxy A07s. More information about its pricing and potential launch in additional markets is expected as the company expands the device’s regional availability.
