Samsung has extended its Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy S21 FE, following an earlier rollout to the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra.
One of the standout features, Circle to Search, was notably absent from the S21 FE until now, despite the device sharing chipsets with its siblings in the S21 series.
This oversight has been addressed with the August 2024 security update, which is now available in Vietnam and is expected to reach other markets in the coming days.
Alongside introducing Circle to Search, this update also patches over 50 security vulnerabilities in Android and Samsung’s One UI, further enhancing the device’s security and performance.
For those unfamiliar, Circle to Search is a powerful AI-driven tool that allows users to effortlessly identify and gather information about anything displayed on their screens. By simply circling an object or text with your finger, the feature can quickly provide details, whether it’s identifying a landmark, translating text, or recognizing a product.
Additionally, it can identify songs playing around you or on your device, making it a versatile tool for everyday use.
Activating Circle to Search is straightforward—users can access it by long-pressing the white bottom pill bar or the home button, depending on their device’s navigation settings. This user-friendly feature adds another layer of convenience and functionality to the Galaxy S21 FE, aligning it more closely with the other models in the S21 lineup.
Samsung’s commitment to keeping its devices updated with the latest features and security enhancements is evident with this release. As the update continues to roll out globally, Galaxy S21 FE users can look forward to a more enriched experience with their device.
