Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is expected to feature an Exynos 2500 chip, 6.7-inch 120Hz display and a higher launch price.
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 FE has been extensively leaked, revealing its design, specifications, battery capacity, cameras and expected pricing ahead of its official launch.
According to details reported by WinFuture, the Galaxy S26 FE will retain a design that closely resembles its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 FE. While the overall appearance appears largely unchanged, Samsung is expected to introduce several hardware upgrades under the hood.
Galaxy S26 FE gets Exynos 2500
One of the biggest changes will reportedly be the processor. Instead of using the Exynos 2400 again, Samsung is expected to equip the Galaxy S26 FE with the Exynos 2500 chipset.
The processor is manufactured using Samsung’s 3nm Gate-All-Around (GAA) technology and features a 10-core CPU alongside an Xclipse 950 GPU based on AMD’s RDNA 3 architecture.
The chipset is expected to be paired with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. There will reportedly be no microSD card slot.
Galaxy S26 FE price expected to increase
The Galaxy S26 FE could also arrive with a higher price tag than its predecessor.
The 128GB model is reportedly expected to cost €800 at launch, which would represent a €50 increase over the Galaxy S25 FE’s €750 launch price for the same storage configuration.
Despite the price increase, Samsung does not appear to be increasing the RAM or storage capacities compared with the previous generation.
6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display
The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The display is reportedly rated at 1,200 nits of typical brightness, with peak brightness reaching up to 1,900 nits in high-brightness mode.
For selfies and video calls, the phone is expected to feature a 12MP front-facing camera with an f/2.2 fixed-focus lens.
Galaxy S26 FE camera specifications
The rear camera system is expected to include a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom.
The main and telephoto cameras are reportedly using the same sensors as the previous model, while the ultra-wide camera is expected to receive an updated 12MP sensor.
The main camera will reportedly support 8K video recording at 30 frames per second and 4K recording at up to 60fps.
4,900mAh battery and 45W charging
The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to retain a 4,900mAh battery, along with support for 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
The phone could offer improved endurance thanks to the more efficient Exynos 2500 chipset. Its reported official battery rating suggests up to 50 hours of use on a single charge, compared with around 42 hours and 37 minutes for the Galaxy S25 FE.
However, the reported battery cycle rating is expected to fall from 2,000 cycles on the S25 FE to 1,200 cycles on the new model.
Galaxy S26 FE design and other features
The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to maintain almost the same dimensions as its predecessor. The phone is reportedly 7.4mm thick and weighs 193g.
It is also expected to carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Other reported specifications include dual-SIM support, one or two eSIM modules, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC.
Galaxy S26 FE launch date
Samsung has yet to confirm an official launch date for the Galaxy S26 FE.
The Galaxy S25 FE was unveiled in September, meaning a September launch for the new model would follow a similar schedule. However, the exact release date remains unknown.
With its Exynos 2500 processor, 120Hz AMOLED display, updated ultra-wide camera and improved battery endurance, the Galaxy S26 FE could offer several upgrades over its predecessor, although the reported €800 starting price may make it a more expensive option for buyers.
