Samsung is set to revive its innovative “Repair Bus” service in Germany, transforming a fleet of buses into mobile repair centers.

This initiative, initially launched a few years ago, is now being reintroduced with ambitious plans for near-countrywide coverage.

Starting this month, the service will initially target cities hosting the Euro Football Championship games: Berlin, Munich, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Cologne. By the end of the year, the Repair Bus will expand its reach to the 15 largest cities in Germany, including Hannover, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Dortmund, Essen, Bremen, Dresden, Nuremberg, and Duisburg.

This marks the beginning of an extensive expansion. By the end of 2025, Samsung aims to have the Repair Bus service available in all German cities with a population of over 20,000 residents.

Customers can schedule a visit from the Repair Bus through an online platform, selecting a convenient time and location. The bus, equipped with all necessary tools and original Samsung parts, arrives to perform the required repairs.

The service covers a range of repairs, including screen and battery replacements, as well as software updates and data backups. This makes it particularly useful for individuals who are less tech-savvy. If the repair is covered under warranty, customers only need to pay a €20 Premium Service fee.

For non-warranty repairs, there is an additional cost for the repair itself. The service extends beyond smartphones to include tablets as well.
