Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SAZEW) is gearing up to launch its latest lineup of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) by March 2026, signaling a major step forward in the company’s strategic growth plans.
The announcement came during a recent corporate briefing where the company highlighted its ambitious roadmap for expansion in both manufacturing and market reach.
According to company officials, Sazgar aims to complete its four-wheeler manufacturing expansion by March 2026, significantly boosting its daily production capacity.
Currently producing around 40 to 50 vehicles per day, the company plans to scale up operations to produce 90 to 100 units daily once the expansion is completed.
As part of its NEV initiative, Sazgar plans to roll out new plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and NEV models under the national NEV policy.
Among the anticipated models are the TANK and H6 Plug-in, along with other environmentally friendly variants. These additions aim to strengthen Sazgar’s presence in the emerging green mobility sector.
In addition to focusing on product development, Sazgar is also targeting broader market penetration. The company will expand its dealership network, which currently includes 20 four-wheeler outlets.
New dealerships are soon to open in Mardan and Peshawar, as part of efforts to enhance local market accessibility and customer service.
Moreover, Sazgar is eyeing growth in export markets, particularly for its three-wheeler vehicles. The company sees significant potential in tapping international demand and aims to boost its export volume in the coming years.
With a clear vision for innovation and market expansion, Sazgar is positioning itself as a key player in Pakistan’s automotive transformation.
The focus on NEVs aligns with global trends in sustainable mobility, and the company’s production upgrade marks a substantial investment in future-ready technology.
As the auto industry moves toward cleaner alternatives, Sazgar’s upcoming NEV lineup and expanded production capacity could play a pivotal role in reshaping Pakistan’s automotive landscape by 2026.
