KARACHI, April 29, 2025 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily report on shipping operations, highlighting routine activity and uninterrupted port functioning during the last 24 hours.
Issued at 0800 hours, the report outlines vessel movements and berthing schedules as part of Port Qasim’s operational transparency.
According to the PQA, shipping operations at the port remain active with a series of vessel movements recorded on Tuesday. Two ships, M.T-AB OLIVIA and M.V-SEASPAN SANTOS, successfully completed their cargo handling and departed from the port. These vessels were involved in the discharge of palm oil and containerized cargo respectively, marking a consistent flow in shipping traffic.
Port Qasim also welcomed multiple vessels for berthing, indicating efficient turnover and docking schedules. Ships including M.T-IVAN 6, which brought in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and M.T-SKY RUNNER, which is discharging palm oil, are now docked and engaged in port operations. This reflects the port’s ability to manage a diverse range of cargo, from edible oils to industrial fuels and containers.
Additional vessels such as M.T-NAEBA GALAXY, M.T-BAM BAM, and M.V-MSC POSITANO also reported berthing during the course of the day, expanding the list of ongoing shipping activities. The arrival of these ships underscores the port’s capacity to handle multiple operations simultaneously, a key aspect of Port Qasim’s logistical strength.
Port officials highlighted that all shipping operations are proceeding without delay, thanks to the well-coordinated efforts of port authorities, terminal operators, and shipping agents. This level of synchronization is essential for maintaining Pakistan’s maritime supply chain and supporting import-export operations.
Port Qasim continues to play a critical role in the nation’s shipping industry, managing a wide range of commercial cargo while ensuring that its operations adhere to international safety and efficiency standards. With a steady stream of inbound and outbound vessels, the port remains a vital link in Pakistan’s trade infrastructure.
As port operations move forward, stakeholders are advised to monitor future shipping updates regularly for planning logistics and ensuring timely coordination.
