Karachi, February 26, 2025 – Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has issued an update on shipping operations for Wednesday, February 26, 2025, to facilitate port users and stakeholders.
The shipping activities at Port Qasim were reported at 0800 hours for the past 24 hours, covering vessel movements, berthing schedules, and cargo handling.
According to Port Qasim officials, multiple vessels were engaged in shipping activities, including cargo handling, berthing, and departure schedules. The smooth operation of shipping at the port ensures the efficient movement of goods, contributing to trade and commerce.
Sailing of Vessels: Several vessels set sail from Port Qasim, carrying various commodities such as coal, palm oil, rice, and containerized cargo. Among them, M.T-SM MAHI, a container vessel, departed from QICT-V, managed by Eastwind Shipping. Similarly, M.T-KATSUYAMA, transporting palm oil, sailed under the agency of Al-Pine Marine, while M.V-LMZ PLUTO carried coal from PIBT, operated by Ocean Services. Rice exports were facilitated by M.V-CS SATIRA, which left from FAP under the supervision of Star Shipping.
Berthing of Vessels: Port Qasim welcomed several vessels for berthing to handle diverse cargo. M.T-KAISA I, carrying LPG, berthed at EVTL under M.International’s agency. Meanwhile, M.T-NAVE RIGEL, transporting gas oil, docked at FOTCO under GAC Shipping. M.V-MARATHOPOLIS, a container vessel, secured a berth at QT2-I under the same shipping agency. Additionally, M.T-HANSA OSLO, carrying palm oil, arrived at LCT under Al-Pine Marine’s management.
