Karachi, January 23, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released details of shipping operations scheduled for Thursday, January 23, 2025, aimed at facilitating stakeholders and ensuring smooth maritime activities. Shipping activities at the port are in full swing, with multiple vessels engaged in berthing and sailing operations.
Sailing of Vessels The shipping schedule includes the following vessels departing from Port Qasim:
• M.T-FUWAIRIT: This vessel, with a Port Qasim registration number of 35376 and a length overall (L.O.A) of 279.00 meters, is carrying 136,131.000 tons of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). The ship’s aft and forward drafts are both recorded at 11.50 meters. Managed by GAC Shipping, it is expected to sail at 10:00 from the PGPCL berth.
• M.V-CHANG HANG HUI HAI: Registered as 35362, this coal-carrying vessel has an L.O.A of 199.99 meters and a manifest quantity of 42,950.000 tons. Its aft and forward drafts are both 10.50 meters. Operated by Ocean World, the ship is scheduled to depart at 12:00 from the HFP&S-IV berth.
Berthing of Vessels The shipping operations also include the following vessels arriving at Port Qasim:
• M.V-AL KYONI SB: This chickpeas-laden vessel, with registration number 35368, has an L.O.A of 190.00 meters and a manifest quantity of 15,000.000 tons. The vessel’s aft and forward drafts are both recorded at 7.89 meters. Operated by Al-Pine Marine, it is scheduled to berth at 15:15 at the PIBT berth.
• M.T-IVAN 6: Carrying Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) with a quantity of 3,277.000 tons, this vessel has an L.O.A of 107.00 meters and drafts of 6.60 meters. Managed by Transmarine, it is expected to berth at 17:00 at the EVTL berth.
• M.V-WAN HAI 501: This vessel, with an L.O.A of 269.00 meters, is expected to berth at 17:30 at the QT2-II berth.
• M.V-GFS RUBY: A container vessel with registration number 35373 and an L.O.A of 176.00 meters, it has drafts of 9.10 meters. Managed by Eastwind Shipping, it is scheduled to berth at 18:00 at the QT2-I berth.
