Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts continued heat and humidity across Sindh, with chances of light rain in coastal districts.
Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast predominantly hot and humid weather across most districts of Sindh over the next 24 hours.
According to the latest weather outlook issued on Wednesday, residents in several parts of the province are expected to continue experiencing high temperatures and uncomfortable humidity levels.
The weather authority stated that while most inland districts will remain under the influence of hot and humid conditions, coastal areas may witness partly cloudy skies along with the possibility of light rainfall.
The forecast indicates that sea breeze activity could contribute to slightly improved conditions in some coastal locations, although humidity levels are expected to remain elevated.
During the past 24 hours, weather conditions across Sindh remained largely hot and humid. Coastal districts experienced partly cloudy weather, providing some relief from direct sunlight.
However, temperatures across the province stayed above seasonal averages in several areas, reflecting the ongoing warm weather pattern.
Dadu recorded the highest maximum temperature in Sindh at 42 degrees Celsius, making it the hottest city in the province on Wednesday. Sukkur and Mohenjo Daro followed closely, where the mercury climbed to 41 degrees Celsius.
Nawabshah registered a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, while Hyderabad Airport recorded 37 degrees Celsius. Mithi experienced a high of 36 degrees Celsius, whereas temperatures in Thatta and Karachi reached 34 degrees Celsius.
Meteorologists have advised residents to take necessary precautions against prolonged exposure to heat, particularly during daytime hours when temperatures remain elevated.
People are encouraged to stay hydrated, avoid unnecessary outdoor activities during peak heat periods, and follow official weather updates for any changes in conditions.
The latest forecast suggests that the prevailing weather pattern is likely to persist across much of Sindh in the coming days. While coastal districts may receive light showers, most parts of the province are expected to continue experiencing warm, humid conditions.
