SRB exhibits remarkable performance, collects Rs161 in 11 months

Karachi, June 1, 2023 – The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has achieved a remarkable milestone in revenue collection during the first eleven months of the current fiscal year.

According to official reports, the SRB has collected a staggering amount of Rs161.3 billion, exhibiting a substantial growth of 22.4 percent compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year.

The SRB’s commitment to meeting its assigned annual revenue collection target of Rs180 billion for the current fiscal year remains unwavering. With the outstanding performance in the month of May 2023, the SRB collected approximately Rs18 billion, displaying a growth rate of 28.2 percent in comparison to May of the previous year when it collected Rs14.05 billion.

The success of the SRB can be attributed to several key factors. Firstly, the unwavering trust and cooperation of taxpayers have played a vital role in boosting revenue collection.
