Karachi, December 17, 2024 – Pakistan has reported a significant current account surplus of $944 million for the first five months (July to November) of the fiscal year 2024-25, according to balance of payment data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Tuesday.
Karachi, November 18, 2024 – Pakistan recorded a current account (CA) surplus of $349 million in October 2024, a notable improvement from a deficit of $287 million in the same month last year, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
In a positive development, Pakistan’s current account has posted a surplus of $654 million in March 2023 after 28 months or since November 2020.
