Islamabad, December 17, 2025: The Government of Pakistan has launched efforts to formulate a comprehensive lithium-ion battery policy aimed at promoting domestic production and reducing import dependence. The initiative was discussed in a high-level meeting chaired by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Industries and Production, Haroon Akhtar Khan, on Wednesday.
