February 8, 2025 – Taylor Swift appears to be making conscious efforts to keep her inner circle drama-free, and in doing so, she has seemingly distanced herself from her longtime friend Blake Lively amid the actress’s ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
According to The Mirror, Swift has not included Lively in the exclusive guest list for the upcoming Super Bowl, where she will be cheering for her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, February 11.
From VIP Suite to No Invite
Last year, Lively was among Swift’s closest friends who joined her in a VIP suite to watch the game, celebrating alongside Ashley Avignone, Lana Del Rey, Ice Spice, Miles Teller, Keleigh Teller, and Kelce’s parents. However, this year, the Gossip Girl alum has reportedly been left off the guest list as she remains embroiled in legal issues related to her latest film, It Ends With Us.
“Blake is not attending the Super Bowl with her,” a source told Daily Mail. “She has barely left the house since this started. Taylor wants to stay out of this legal battle and have no involvement in the court case.”
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s Legal Feud
Lively, 37, and Baldoni, 41, co-starred in the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel, It Ends With Us, which was released last summer. The project, initially highly anticipated, has since been overshadowed by a legal battle between its lead actors.
In December 2024, Lively filed a complaint alleging unethical conduct during the film’s production, leading to a series of lawsuits. Baldoni, best known for his role in Jane the Virgin, has denied all allegations.
The controversy surrounding the film has seemingly impacted Lively’s public appearances, with reports indicating that she has chosen to remain out of the spotlight.
