Toyota Corolla 2027 facelift arrives in Pakistan with major new updates

Toyota Pakistan introduces a refreshed Corolla Grande with updated styling, improved connectivity, parking sensors and a redesigned interior theme.

Toyota Pakistan has officially introduced the facelifted 2027 Corolla sedan in the local market, bringing a range of exterior and interior updates to the popular model. While the changes are primarily focused on design and convenience, the refreshed Corolla also receives notable upgrades in connectivity and cabin equipment.

The company has showcased the updated model through a new promotional video, highlighting its sharper appearance, enhanced comfort and revised overall presentation. Toyota describes the latest Corolla as offering a more confident look while maintaining the comfort-focused character associated with the sedan.

The most visible changes are found at the front. The facelifted Corolla features a redesigned grille and bumper that give the sedan a flatter and more pronounced appearance. The updated styling follows Toyota’s newer design language, with a slimmer upper section and a more prominent lower bumper area.

The front bumper now incorporates integrated LED fog lamps along with parking sensors. These additions not only give the Corolla a cleaner appearance but also provide additional assistance during parking and low-speed maneuvering.

Toyota has also introduced newly styled 16-inch machine-finished alloy wheels for the Grande variant. Although the wheel size remains unchanged, the new finish gives the sedan a more distinctive appearance. The side profile has also been kept relatively clean, with fewer exterior badges.

At the rear, the updated Corolla receives revised styling, a rear fog lamp and four parking sensors. The LED rear lighting treatment has also been highlighted in the updated specifications, while Toyota has retained a relatively simple approach to rear badging.

Inside, the Grande gets one of the most noticeable changes through a new Black and Dark Chestnut color combination. The updated interior uses beige-gold stitching and warm metallic accents, replacing the previous beige-focused theme.

The infotainment system remains a 9-inch unit, but connectivity has been improved with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and Bluetooth 5.0. The car also receives Panasonic speakers, while rear occupants now benefit from both USB-A and USB-C ports.

Under the hood, the facelifted Corolla Grande continues with the familiar 1.8-liter petrol engine. It produces 138 hp and 173 Nm and is paired with Toyota’s 7-speed Sport CVT-i Sequential Shiftmatic transmission.

Other existing features, including cruise control, paddle shifters, Sport mode, sunroof, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers and Vehicle Stability Control, continue to be offered.

With these updates, the Toyota Corolla 2027 facelift brings more than a visual refresh, adding several practical and technology-focused improvements to the sedan.
