Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has unveiled the latest iteration of the Philippines’ top-selling Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) model – the Toyota Corolla Cross.
Initially introduced in 2020 alongside conventional Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) variants, the 2024 Corolla Cross now exclusively offers an all-HEV lineup.
Starting at PHP 1,498,000 for the G HEV variant, the new Corolla Cross expands TMP’s selection of affordable and dependable electrified vehicles, emphasizing its dedication to popularizing the electrified lifestyle among Filipinos.
STYLE & FUNCTION IN ELECTRIFYING FORM
The V HEV and G HEV editions of the new Corolla Cross showcase a revamped mesh-like grille with hexagonal patterns, while the GR-S HEV version maintains the sleek front design of its predecessor.
Headlamp upgrades include LED lamps with automatic high beam (AHB) and sequential turn signals for V HEV and GR-S HEV variants, while the G HEV variant now features LED lamps instead of halogens.
Adding to its allure, the GR-S HEV model offers a power back door with kick sensor, a panoramic view monitor camera, and a panoramic moonroof for an enhanced premium experience. Inside, all variants boast LED interior lighting and a leather steering wheel, with an electronic parking brake (EPB) replacing the foot brake.
Convenience features abound, with a 12.3-inch fully digital multi-information display (MID) for the GR-S HEV, a 7-inch thin-film-transistor (TFT) MID for V HEV, and a 4.2-inch TFT MID for G HEV.
Additionally, all variants sport a 10-inch display audio with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, accompanied by a wireless charging pad for hassle-free smartphone charging on the move.

The GR-S and V variants incorporate Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), featuring Pre-Collision System (PCS), Automatic High Beam (AHB), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
Active safety measures include Emergency Brake Signal (EBS), Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC).
Under the hood, the new Corolla Cross houses a hybrid 4-cylinder, in-line, 16-valve DOHC, chain-driven VVT-i engine paired with CVT transmission. This hybrid powertrain amalgamates conventional engine strength with electric motor fuel efficiency, paving the way for a more eco-conscious driving experience.
