With a new high-strength boxed steel-ladder frame and a fully redesigned multi-link coil rear suspension, the Tacoma offers improved ride and handling. The turbocharged four-cylinder powertrains provide impressive power, including the i-FORCE MAX hybrid variant, which produces a staggering 326 horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque.

Furthermore, the all-new Trailhunter grade, originally revealed at the 2022 SEMA show, caters to overlanding enthusiasts who seek an adventure-ready truck right off the showroom floor.

The design of the all-new Tacoma captures the spirit of rugged outdoor fun and takes inspiration from Toyota’s Baja race trucks. With its slim body, wide upper grille, aggressive skid plates, high-mount headlamps, and integrated spoilers, the Tacoma embodies the iconic “Tacoma-ness” that defines its unique character. The CALTY Design Center, in collaboration with Toyota’s North American-based design teams, led the efforts to ensure the Tacoma’s authentic and athletic stance.

The engineering teams at Toyota Technical Centers spared no effort in enhancing the Tacoma’s off-road capability and durability. From severe rock crawling to high-speed desert racing, the fourth-generation Tacoma is engineered to conquer a wide range of environments.

The new Tacoma utilizes the TNGA-F global truck platform, providing increased rigidity and reduced weight with the use of high-strength steel and aluminum. The multi-link rear suspension, improved braking performance, and electric power steering contribute to enhanced ride and handling characteristics. With a maximum towing capacity of 6,500 lbs. and increased payload, the Tacoma is equipped for any adventure.

The highly anticipated 2024 Tacoma models from Toyota now come standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, an advanced suite of active safety and convenience systems. This latest version of Toyota Safety Sense features several enhancements and utilizes improved system sensors for enhanced detection capabilities.

The suite includes a range of impressive features designed to keep drivers and pedestrians safe on the road. The Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection now incorporates the ability to detect motorcyclists in addition to pedestrians and bicyclists. Lane Departure Alert has been enhanced with Steering Assist and improved lane recognition, which now includes the detection of certain 3D objects like guardrails.

Dynamic Radar Cruise Control offers Full-Speed Range capability and introduces a fourth following distance setting, allowing for smoother speed adjustments and the detection of multiple preceding vehicles and adjacent lane vehicles. The all-new Lane Tracing Assist feature works in conjunction with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control to provide lane centering and increased space between vehicles in adjacent lanes.

The Tacoma’s safety features are further bolstered by the Emergency Driving Stop System, which monitors driver inputs and can bring the vehicle to a stop in the event of inattentiveness or a medical emergency. Road Sign Assist is also introduced in the 2024 Tacoma, capable of detecting various signs such as speed limits, stop signs, and warning signs, and displaying them on the Multi-Information Display.

Additionally, the Tacoma offers available features like Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), which warns drivers of vehicles in adjacent lanes, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), providing assistance when backing out by detecting approaching vehicles from either side.
