Two LNG ships arrive at Port Qasim

KARACHI: For the first time in Pakistan history two ships carrying LNG arrived and anchored at Port Qasim, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi said on Saturday while talking to a private news channel.

Reports said that one ship has been arrived at Engro LNG Terminal. The LNG supply from this terminal was halted for the last three days.

Terminal officials said that supply of 500 MMCFD gas had been started. The terminal has capacity to supply 600 MMCFD gas.

While another ship also anchored at the second LNG terminal. The supply of imported LNG has been started after re-gasifying process.

The other terminal has supply capacity of 300MMCFD.
