South Africa’s Dominance Over Scotland in Potchefstroom
The clash between South Africa and Scotland in Potchefstroom was nothing short of a spectacle, as South Africa’s batting line-up orchestrated a remarkable run-chase.
Opting to bowl first, South Africa faced a daunting target of 270 set by Scotland. However, opener Steve Stolk had other plans, unleashing a record-breaking 13-ball fifty that included a breathtaking display of eight sixes.
Stolk’s explosive innings set the tone for South Africa’s chase, and his teammate Dewan Marais added to the onslaught with an unbeaten half-century. The Proteas achieved the target in just 27 overs, securing a convincing seven-wicket victory.

Shah’s brilliance saw the top three New Zealand batters back in the pavilion early in the innings.
Pakistan’s bowlers maintained their dominance, restricting New Zealand to a modest total of 140. In response, Pakistan’s openers, Shahzaib Khan and Shamyl Hussain, exhibited remarkable form, forging an unbeaten century partnership and guiding their team to a resounding 10-wicket victory within 26 overs.
