Updated Prices of Pakistan’s Cheapest Sedan

Proton Saga is a compact sedan that is locally produced by Al-Haj Automotive. The sedan is known for its affordability, practicality, and reliability, making it a popular choice for budget-conscious buyers in Pakistani market. It offers a comfortable cabin with adequate seating space and a decent-sized trunk for its segment.

In terms of engine options, the Proton Saga comes with a range of efficient and economical petrol engines. These engines provide adequate power for city driving and everyday commuting.

The Saga was first introduced in Pakistan in 2021 and has since become one of Proton’s most popular and enduring models in the country.

The car is launched in three variants including Proton Saga MT, Proton Saga AT and Proton Saga Ace. The prices of these three variants as on June 21, 2023 are given below.

Price:

The ex-factory price of Proton Saga MT is Rs3,749,000.

The ex-factory price of Proton Saga AT is Rs3,949,000.

The ex-factory price of Proton Saga Ace is Rs4,099,000.

Available Exterior Colors:

The car comes in a variety of color options, including Rosewood Maroon, Ruby Red, Snow White, Jet Grey, Armour Silver, and Quartz Black.

Engine:

The Proton Saga 1.3L Standard M/T utilizes a 4-cylinder, inline 16-valve DOHC VVT engine with a capacity of 1299cc. It produces a maximum power output of 91 kW at 5750 rpm and a maximum torque of 117 Nm at 4000 rpm. This power is transmitted through a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Proton Saga 1.3L Standard A/T also features a 4-cylinder, inline 16-valve DOHC VVT engine with a capacity of 1299cc. It generates a maximum power output of 91 kW at 5750 rpm and a maximum torque of 117 Nm at 4000 rpm. The power is transferred through a 4-speed automatic transmission.

The Proton Saga Ace A/T shares the same engine specifications as the previous models. It is equipped with a 4-cylinder, inline 16-valve DOHC VVT engine with a capacity of 1299cc. This engine produces a maximum power output of 91 kW at 5750 rpm and a maximum torque of 117 Nm at 4000 rpm. The power is delivered through a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Exterior:

The car’s exterior showcases a sleek and appealing design. It includes an infinite weave grille at the front. While all variants of the Proton Saga come with halogen headlamps as a standard feature, the Ace variant of the vehicle also incorporates LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) for enhanced visibility.

The car is equipped with electric side mirrors that feature LED turn signal lamps. The rear of the car contributes to its overall design with a sporty bumper.

It is also outfitted with a Bee-Sting Antenna to ensure excellent signal reception. Additionally, the car offers a remote trunk release option, allowing the trunk to be accessed through a remote control without having to unlock the entire vehicle.

In the Ace variant of the car, a spoiler is included at the back. This variant also boasts redesigned 15-inch alloy wheels, which not only complement the car’s exterior but also contribute to its sporty appearance.

Interior:

The car’s interior offers a comfortable experience for its occupants. The steering wheel of the car can be adjusted for tilt. In the Ace variant of the car, there are additional steering switches that allow for audio and telephone control.

The car is equipped with various convenient features such as eco drive assist, power windows, keyless entry, a 12V power socket, and a driver’s seat height adjuster. In the Ace variant, there are extra features including a luggage lamp and three USB ports inside the car.

Safety Features:

The car is equipped with a range of safety features, including front airbags, front seatbelts, an immobilizer, an anti-theft alarm, and parking sensors. In the Ace variant, there are extra features such as electronic stability control, hill hold assist, and a traction control system, further enhancing the safety measures of the vehicle.
