This year’s competition saw fierce contenders, with Miss Nigeria, Chidimma Adetshina, securing the first runner-up spot and Miss Mexico, María Fernanda Beltrán Figueroa, finishing as the second runner-up.

A Historic Moment

During the final round, the top five contestants were asked a unifying question: “Miss Universe has inspired generations of women. What is your message to the women watching you right now?”

In a heartfelt response, Theilvig said: “No matter where you come from, no matter your past, you can always choose to turn it into your strengths. It will never define who you are. You just gotta keep fighting.” She added, “I stand here today because I want change. I want to make history, and that’s what I’m doing tonight. Never give up, always believe in yourself and your dreams.”

A Multifaceted Role Model

Theilvig is not only a professional dancer but also a beauty entrepreneur who actively advocates for mental health awareness and animal rights. In addition to her current endeavors, she has aspirations to pursue a career in law, further solidifying her role as an inspiration for women worldwide.
