Vivo to Launch Vivo X Fold 3 Pro in India

Vivo is set to shake up the Indian smartphone market with the upcoming launch of its latest foldable device, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro.

Following its successful debut in China, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is poised to rival the existing flagship foldable phones with its cutting-edge features and exceptional camera capabilities.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro boasts an impressive hardware lineup that places it among the most powerful foldable devices currently available. It runs on Android 14 with Vivo’s custom OriginOS 4, powered by the Qualcomm SM8650-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

The octa-core CPU configuration, including a 3.3 GHz Cortex-X4, three 3.2 GHz Cortex-A720 cores, two 3.0 GHz Cortex-A720 cores, and two 2.3 GHz Cortex-A520 cores, ensures robust performance. The Adreno 750 GPU handles graphics-intensive tasks with ease.

In terms of memory and storage, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro offers two variants: one with 512GB of internal storage paired with 16GB of RAM, and another with a whopping 1TB of storage, also coupled with 16GB of RAM. Both configurations use UFS 4.0 for ultra-fast data transfer speeds, although the device lacks a card slot for expandable storage.

The camera system is a standout feature of the X Fold 3 Pro, emphasizing Vivo’s focus on high-quality imaging. The main camera setup includes a 50 MP wide lens, a 64 MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50 MP ultrawide lens.

All cameras come equipped with advanced features like Zeiss optics, Zeiss T* lens coating, dual-LED flash, and 8K video recording capabilities. The front-facing cameras include two 32 MP sensors, ensuring excellent selfie quality.

Audio enthusiasts will appreciate the stereo speakers and support for 24-bit/192kHz high-resolution audio, though the device lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, it supports Snapdragon Sound for an enhanced audio experience.

Originally introduced in March 2023, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro marks a strategic shift as Vivo expands its foldable phone offerings beyond China. As anticipation builds, Indian consumers can expect a foldable smartphone that blends powerful performance with premium camera technology, setting a new standard in the flagship foldable market.
