Vivo V50e Debuts With Dimensity 7300, Triple 50MP Cameras

Vivo has officially launched the V50e in India, expanding its V50 series lineup, which already includes the V50, V50 Lite 4G, and V50 Lite 5G.

Positioned as a mid-range powerhouse, the V50e brings a strong mix of performance, camera capability, and premium design at an attractive price point.

Powering the V50e is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, the same processor used in its predecessor, the V40e. It comes paired with 8GB RAM and two storage variants—128GB and 256GB. The phone boots Android 15 with vivo’s custom Funtouch OS 15 and is promised to receive three major Android updates along with four years of security patches.

On the front, the vivo V50e sports a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Protected by Diamond Shield Glass co-developed with Schott Glass, the screen boasts up to 1,800 nits peak brightness and supports HDR10+.

The display houses an under-screen fingerprint scanner and a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus, front fill light, and 4K video recording—an upgrade from its predecessor.

At the rear, the V50e features a triple-camera setup headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS, paired with a 50MP ultra-wide lens offering a 116° field of view. vivo’s signature Aura Light flash enhances low-light photography.

India-exclusive wedding portrait filters such as Prosecco, Neo Retro, and Pastel, along with AI tools like AI Image Expander and AI Photo Enhancer, make the camera experience even richer.

Battery life is also a strong point, with a 5,600 mAh cell—slightly larger than the V40e—offering support for 90W fast charging. The device is rated IP68 and IP69 for water and dust resistance and comes with dual stereo speakers for immersive audio.

The vivo V50e is available in Sapphire Blue and Pearl White, with the blue variant featuring unique back panel patterns. Pricing starts at ₹28,999 for the 128GB model and ₹30,999 for the 256GB model. Sales begin April 17 via vivo’s official site, Amazon.in, Flipkart, and authorized retail partners across India.
