Vivo has officially announced the upcoming launch of the Vivo Y200e 5G in India scheduled for February 22, 2024.
The confirmation was made through a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Vivo India. Interested users can find details about the phone on the official product page now live on the company’s website.
The Vivo Y200e 5G will be available in blue and orange color options, potentially marketed as Diamond Black and Saffron Delight shades based on a prior leak. The orange variant features a vegan leather finish with criss-cross patterns on the back, while the blue variant has a textured finish, possibly with a plastic back.
The phone’s triple rear camera system is arranged vertically in distinct circular units within a rectangular camera module, accompanied by a smaller round LED flash unit. The design is reminiscent of the Vivo Y200 5G, with the notable inclusion of a third camera instead of the Aura Light feature found in the previous model.
Anticipated specifications for the Vivo Y200e 5G include a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200nits peak brightness. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, the device is expected to run on either Android 13 or Android 14-based UI. A robust 5,000mAh battery supporting 44W wired fast charging is likely to be incorporated.
On the imaging front, the phone may feature a 50-megapixel primary and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor at the back, complemented by a 16-megapixel front camera. Additional features may include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
