Vivo has officially launched the vivo Y300 in India, staying true to its announcement last week. This smartphone, while resembling the vivo V40 Lite from Indonesia, features unique camera enhancements, marking it as a distinct model.

The vivo Y300 is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 8 GB of RAM, expandable to 16 GB via the phone’s settings. It offers two storage variants: 128 GB and 256 GB, with an additional microSD slot for further expansion.
Display and Camera Features
The device sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. A punch-hole cutout houses the 32 MP front-facing camera, perfect for selfies and video calls.
The primary camera setup is headlined by a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor, accompanied by a 2 MP portrait lens. A standout feature is the AI aura ring light, enhancing portrait shots in low-light conditions. Advanced AI tools, such as the “Erase” and “Enhance” functions, let users remove background objects and improve old photos. The “Super Moon” mode creates artistic moon images, adding a touch of creativity.
Battery and Charging
The vivo Y300 packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It promises to recharge from 0 to 80% in just 30 minutes, thanks to the FlashCharge technology, which can be disabled to preserve battery health.

Embodying the slogan “It’s my style,” the Y300 boasts a high-gloss frame and comes in three elegant colors: Titanium Silver, Emerald Green, and Phantom Purple. The device is IP64-rated, offering protection against dust and water splashes.

The smartphone runs Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14. It features Bluetooth 5.0, a USB-C port, and excludes FM Radio and NFC support.

The vivo Y300 is priced at INR 21,999 for the 128 GB variant and INR 23,999 for the 256 GB model. Pre-orders are open on vivo’s official website, with sales starting Tuesday, November 26.
