In Islamabad, the PMD predicts very cold weather with chances of light to moderate fog on Saturday night, December 28, 2024. The situation is expected to persist into Sunday, December 29, 2024, with colder temperatures during the morning and night hours. Frost may form at isolated locations around the capital during the early hours, adding to the wintry chill.
The synoptic situation indicates that continental air is prevailing across most parts of the country, contributing to the ongoing cold and dry spell. For Islamabad, this means extended periods of dry weather coupled with biting cold, especially during nighttime.
