Pakistan to play two ICC World Test Championship matches in Trinidad and Tobago during Caribbean tour.

West Indies cricket team has confirmed its home international schedule featuring series against Pakistan national cricket team, Sri Lanka national cricket team and New Zealand national cricket team across all formats later this year.

Pakistan is scheduled to tour the Caribbean for a two-match Test series in July and August as part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship cycle.

The opening Test will be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy from July 25 to 29, while the second and final Test is scheduled at the Queen’s Park Oval from August 2 to 6.

Before hosting Pakistan, the West Indies will face Sri Lanka in a full bilateral series comprising three One-day Internationals, three Twenty20 Internationals and two Test matches.

The two Tests against Sri Lanka will take place at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium from June 25-29 and July 3-7.

The Caribbean side will also host New Zealand for a five-match ODI series from July 11 to 21 as part of preparations for next year’s ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

West Indies is currently placed ninth in the World Test Championship standings after eight matches in the ongoing cycle.

Sri Lanka’s white-ball fixtures will begin in Jamaica, with all ODI and T20I matches scheduled at Sabina Park. Meanwhile, the ODI series against New Zealand will be split between Guyana National Stadium and Kensington Oval.

Pakistan’s tour is expected to attract significant attention as both teams seek to improve their positions in the World Test Championship standings.
