Xiaomi is set to make waves with the upcoming release of the 14T and 14T Pro smartphones, scheduled to be officially unveiled on September 26.
According to leaked promotional materials, these devices will come preinstalled with the much-anticipated “Circle to Search” feature, previously exclusive to Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series and Google’s Pixel devices. This exciting addition marks the end of the feature’s exclusivity, bringing a valuable tool to more users worldwide.
Circle to Search, designed to enhance mobile search capabilities, allows users to easily search for information directly from their screen, making it a seamless experience. In addition to Circle to Search, Xiaomi is set to highlight several Google Gemini-powered AI tools in its marketing for the 14T series.
These include AI Notes, AI Interpreter, AI Subtitles, and AI Voice Recorder, making these smartphones more than just powerful hardware but also versatile AI-driven tools.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 14T will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of expandable storage.
This powerhouse will come with a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 67W wired charging, capable of charging from 0% to 100% in just 45 minutes.
For photography enthusiasts, the 14T boasts an impressive camera system, featuring a 50 MP main sensor using Sony’s IMX906, a 50 MP telephoto lens, a 12 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 32 MP front-facing camera for selfies.
The 14T Pro, on the other hand, will be nearly identical to its sibling, with the primary difference being the Dimensity 9300+ chipset, offering enhanced performance.
Both models will share a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, IP68-rated dust and water resistance, and run on Android 14 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface.
With these new features and AI capabilities, the Xiaomi 14T series is shaping up to be a strong contender in the smartphone market.
