Xiaomi 17T Launching in Pakistan on May 28 With Leica Camera

Xiaomi Pakistan has officially teased the launch of the upcoming Xiaomi 17T smartphone in the local market. The company announced that the new flagship device will debut on May 28 at 5:00 PM (GMT+5), continuing its long-standing partnership with Leica for premium smartphone photography.

In its teaser campaign, Xiaomi highlighted “Five years of Xiaomi x Leica,” emphasizing how every generation of the collaboration has improved mobile imaging technology. The Xiaomi 17T series is expected to focus on advanced camera performance, refined design, and an upgraded user experience.

Xiaomi 17T Features AMOLED 120Hz Display

According to leaked specifications, the Xiaomi 17T will feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, HDR10+, and 3840Hz PWM dimming for improved eye comfort. The screen is expected to offer a sharp 1268 x 2756 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

The smartphone is rumored to run on Android 16 with HyperOS 3 out of the box. Powering the device could be the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset built on a 4nm process, paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 internal storage.

Leica Triple Camera Setup Revealed

One of the biggest highlights of the Xiaomi 17T is its Leica-powered triple rear camera system. The setup reportedly includes a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP periscope telephoto camera offering 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor.

The camera system is also expected to support Ultra HDR, HDR10+ video recording, 4K video at up to 60fps, and advanced color spectrum sensors for better photography results.

On the front, Xiaomi may include a 32MP selfie camera capable of recording 4K videos with HDR10+ support.

Large Battery and Premium Features Expected

The Xiaomi 17T is rumored to pack a massive 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 67W wired fast charging. Other expected features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, infrared support, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The smartphone is expected to launch in Blue, Black, and Purple color options. While Xiaomi has not yet officially confirmed pricing details, the device is shaping up to be a strong premium flagship competitor in Pakistan’s smartphone market.
