Xiaomi is gearing up for the release of its new Mix Fold device, which has recently secured certification from the China Compulsory Certification (CCC).
The new smartphone, identified by the model number 24072PX77C, is confirmed to support 67W charging, maintaining the same charging speed as its predecessors.
The Mix Fold 4 will be paired with the MDY-15-EQ charger, a 67W adapter capable of delivering 20V at 3.25A (67W Max). Despite this certification, details about the phone’s other features remain under wraps. However, it is widely anticipated that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, ensuring top-tier performance.
The launch of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is expected in July. However, it might not be the only new foldable device introduced by the company. Rumors suggest that Xiaomi will also unveil the Mix Flip, its first clamshell foldable phone. This new addition is expected to feature the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and main camera as the Mix Fold 4.
The potential introduction of the Mix Flip is generating significant buzz, particularly with the hope that it will be Xiaomi’s first foldable to be sold internationally. Up to now, Xiaomi’s foldable devices have been exclusive to the Chinese market.
As the tech community eagerly awaits further details, Xiaomi continues to position itself as a formidable player in the foldable smartphone arena. The company’s commitment to innovation and maintaining consistent charging technology demonstrates its focus on enhancing user experience while preparing to compete globally.
With the Mix Fold 4 and the highly anticipated Mix Flip, Xiaomi is poised to make a significant impact in the foldable smartphone market this year.
