Yamaha Pakistan Hikes Motorcycle Prices Amid Rupee Depreciation

Yamaha Motor Pakistan has recently announced a price adjustment for its motorcycles, set to go into effect on September 06, 2023. This move comes in response to the ongoing economic instability that has created challenges for businesses across various sectors.

The main reason behind this decision is the substantial depreciation of the Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar, which has led to increased production costs for Yamaha Motor Pakistan.

To ensure product quality and meet customer expectations, the company has deemed it necessary to adjust the retail selling prices of their motorcycles.

Here are the updated prices for Yamaha motorcycles, effective from September 06, 2023:

Yamaha YB125Z (Red/Black) will now be priced at Rs. 396,000, up from its previous tag of Rs. 380,500, reflecting an increase of Rs. 15,500.

The Yamaha YB125Z DX (Red/Black/Gray) model will be available at Rs. 423,500, compared to its previous price of Rs. 408,000, indicating a price adjustment of Rs. 15,500.

The Yamaha YBR125 (Red/Blue/Black) will see its price rise to Rs. 435,500, up from Rs. 419,000, with a price hike of Rs. 16,500.

For the Yamaha YBR 125G (Black), the new price will be Rs. 453,000, up from the previous tag of Rs. 436,000, reflecting an increase of Rs. 17,000.

The Yamaha YBR 125G (Matt Dark Grey/ Matt Orange) will now be priced at Rs. 456,000, up from Rs. 439,000, indicating a price increase of Rs. 17,000.
