The 2024 Chery Tiggo 9 has hit the market with a starting price of $21,000, offering five distinct trims ranging from $21,000 to $28,100 USD (152,900 – 203,900 yuan).
This model, featuring a minor facelift, retains its classic appeal with subtle updates in configuration rather than major design overhauls.
In May alone, 3,614 units of the Chery Tiggo 9 were sold, contributing to a total of 19,615 units sold since the beginning of 2024. Since its launch in June 2023, cumulative sales have reached 32,999 units by the end of last year.
Positioned as a mid-sized SUV, the 2024 Chery Tiggo 9 measures 4820/1930/1699 mm with a wheelbase of 2820 mm, offering a standard 5-seater layout and a generous 717 L trunk capacity. The higher-end trims even provide an optional third-row, transforming it into a 7-seater configuration (2+3+2).
Externally, the 2024 model retains its distinctive narrow headlights, octagonal grille with chrome trim, and a striking black “C”-shaped design on the lower front. The rear features through-type taillights, Chery’s English logo, and chrome-outlined exhaust outlets on both sides.
Inside, the cockpit boasts a symmetrical layout with a three-spoke steering wheel, now adorned with faux leather. Some trims offer steering wheel heating along with a dual-screen setup comprising a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 12.3-inch central control screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. Notably, paddle shifters have been removed in this update.
