Chevrolet has joined forces with American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) to bring the highly anticipated 2024 Colorado ZR2 Bison. This beast of a midsize truck is built to conquer any terrain and offers unrivaled off-road performance without compromising on ride quality, handling, or safety.

With AEV off-road enhancements, the Bison takes performance and capability to new heights. It has been rigorously tested and proven by champion off-road racer Chad Hall in competitions and has undergone extensive trials on the demanding Rubicon Trail.

The Colorado ZR2 Bison boasts segment-exclusive Multimatic front and rear Jounce Control Dampers, providing exceptional suspension performance. It is equipped with AEV heavy-duty winch-capable front and rear bumpers, fender flares, and 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels paired with 35-inch OD Mud/Terrain tires exclusive to this segment.

For enhanced protection, the Bison features boron steel skid plates and rocker protectors, offering best-in-class underbody protection. It excels in off-road geometry with the best-in-class approach angle of 38.2 degrees, departure angle of 26 degrees, and breakover angle of 26.9 degrees. Its ground clearance stands at an impressive 12.2 inches, the best in its class.

Under the hood, the Colorado ZR2 Bison comes with a standard 2.7L Turbo High-Output powertrain, delivering an impressive 310 horsepower. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and features a 4WD system with a 2-speed transfer case for exceptional off-road capability. Power-locking front and rear differentials ensure maximum traction in challenging conditions.

The 2024 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison showcases a rugged and distinctive exterior design. It features a “Flowtie” front badge, adding a modern touch to the front grille.
