Karachi, January 10, 2026 — Abdul Qadir Memon has been officially elected as the new President of the Pakistan Billiards & Snooker Association (PBSA), marking a significant leadership change in the country’s cue sports community.

Memon, who secured the position during the association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), brings extensive experience in sports administration and organizational leadership. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Honorary Treasurer of PBSA, earning recognition for his strategic contributions to the association.

Beyond sports, Memon has an accomplished professional career. He has served as Patron and President of the Pakistan Tax Bar Association, including two consecutive terms, and held leadership roles at the Karachi Tax Bar Association. His corporate experience includes Chairman positions at the National Clearing Company of Pakistan, Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, and Bank-Islami Modarabas Investment Ltd.

Memon has also contributed as a Director of the Pakistan Stock Exchange, State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, Institute of Corporate Governance, and the Institute of Financial Markets of Pakistan. His leadership extends to youth and professional development organizations, having served as National President of Pakistan Junior Chamber International and the Memon Professional Forum.

A globally experienced professional, Memon actively engages in sports activities. He currently serves as President of the Patients’ Behbud Society for Aga Khan University Hospital and as a Trustee of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Pakistan.

With his diverse background and leadership expertise, Abdul Qadir Memon is poised to advance billiards and snooker in Pakistan, fostering talent development and promoting the country’s presence in international cue sports.
