Karachi, December 4, 2023 – ABHI, an embedded finance platform, has partnered with Unilever Pakistan, a global FMCG company present in 190 countries, to introduce AbhiSalary – an Earned Wage Access (EWA) solution.

This strategic collaboration aims to empower Unilever Pakistan’s workforce by providing them with immediate access to a portion of their earned wages.

At the heart of this groundbreaking partnership lies a mutual commitment to financial inclusion, a vision shared by both Unilever Pakistan and ABHI. Unilever has been a pioneer in transforming financial empowerment in Pakistan, evident through its recent “fair living wage” initiative, which has significantly impacted the economic landscape for employees. The partnership underscores a joint commitment to furthering financial empowerment for the workforce.

AbhiSalary, an Earned Wage Access (EWA) solution, enables employees to meet their financial obligations regularly by allowing them to access their earned salary through the ABHI mobile app, SMS, and WhatsApp within 30 seconds, from any location. Unilever Pakistan’s employees can now access their earned income before the scheduled payday, revolutionizing how they manage their finances. This initiative aims to provide financial support during unexpected expenses and reduce reliance on high-interest or informal loans.
