Acura’s latest release, the 2024 Integra Type S, is making waves in the automotive industry with its unbeatable performance and sleek design. This high-performance car is not only fast, but it also boasts premium features and refinement that are sure to turn heads.
The 2024 Acura Integra Type S is set to make a splash at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach this weekend, as it makes its highly anticipated public debut. This car is designed to appeal to a new generation of enthusiastic drivers who crave the ultimate in street performance. The 2024 Integra Type S will go on sale this June.
Engine of 2024 Acura Integra Type S:
The Integra Type S is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter VTEC engine with direct injection and unique throttle tuning, delivering a whopping 320 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine has a 33 per cent greater displacement than the standard 1.5-liter engine of the Integra, providing class-leading power and a power-to-weight ratio of only 10.1 pounds per horsepower.
The new high-flow exhaust system, exclusive to the Integra Type S, gives the engine its highest-ever horsepower rating in North America, producing a class-leading specific output of 160 hp/liter. The straight-through exhaust design also enhances the driving experience with a Type S-exclusive exhaust note and “pops and bangs” in Sport+ mode.
Acura offers the Integra Type S with the only manual transmission in its class, a 6-speed manual with an automatic rev-matching system, delivering a rewarding driving experience. Additionally, the standard helical-type limited-slip differential (LSD) helps to effectively transfer the engine’s substantial power to the pavement.

The all-new Integra Type S, boasts a wide body design that exudes a commanding road presence. Boldly flared wide body fenders and larger 19-inch wheels with 265/30 R19 tires, wider than the standard Integra, make a bold statement with a more muscular stance. This high-performance 5-door liftback is the only vehicle in its segment to offer this flexibility, while every body panel forward of the A-pillars is unique to Type S.
The more aggressive front fascia is instantly recognizable, with a larger open-surface Diamond Pentagon grille and a vented aluminum hood, enabling increased airflow by 170 per cent. The wider lower opening feeds air to the intercooler to support higher boost pressure, enhancing engine performance. The redesigned rear fascia is equally stunning, featuring three large center-mounted exhaust outlets, a gloss black diffuser, and a decklid spoiler that intensify downforce.
Type S badges positioned on the front grille, each front fender and the trunk lid distinguish this high-performance model. The iconic “Integra” is embossed in the front and rear fascias, a nod to its predecessors. The Integra Type S is available in seven striking colors, including the Type S exclusive Tiger Eye Pearl, and offers three interior options in Red, Black, and Orchid. The Integra Type S boasts a driver-centric cabin that highlights premium materials and Type S-specific high-performance details. The Sport front seats offer a four-position adjustment, Ultrasuede inserts, and firmer seat bolsters that provide better support for the body during high-speed cornering. The steering wheel and shifter knob are covered in perforated leather with colored stitching, and the dark-anodized shifter knob has a red shift pattern.
Type S logos can be found on the steering wheel, shifter boot surround, and the front seat headrests, while a black Ultrasuede shift boot with colored stitching completes the high-performance theme.
The high-performance Integra Type S offers a class-leading array of standard technology features that enhance everyday comfort and refinement. These features include a 10.2-inch Acura Precision Cockpit Driver Information Interface, a 9-inch color touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless phone charging, and a head-up display. The 16-speaker 530-watt ELS STUDIO 3D premium audio system provides a powerful listening experience with studio-quality sound.
The Integra Type S’s long wheelbase translates to class-leading rear seat legroom (37.4 inches) for its two rear seat passengers. Furthermore, the Integra’s class-exclusive five-door liftback design gives it an edge in cargo capacity, with 24.3 cubic-feet of cargo space behind its 60/40 split rear seatbacks, which fold flat to accommodate larger gear, such as mountain bikes or surfboards.
