Karachi, October 6, 2025 – The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) on Monday officially announced the extension of the deadline for filing Agricultural Income Tax (AIT) returns up to October 31, 2025.
The previous deadline of September 30, 2025, has been extended by one month with the approval of the Sindh government to provide relief and convenience to taxpayers.
According to the notification, the SRB stated that all individuals and entities required to submit their AIT returns by September 30 can now file their returns by October 31 without facing any penalties. The extension aims to ensure that every taxpayer has ample time to complete the process smoothly and accurately.
To further facilitate compliance, the SRB has launched an enhanced online portal where taxpayers can easily submit their returns. The digital platform allows registration using a valid CNIC and active mobile number, enabling users to make secure payments through banking apps, ATMs, or over-the-counter transactions.
The SRB highlighted that this initiative is part of its broader plan to modernize tax administration and promote digital governance across Sindh. Updated guidelines, instructional videos, and FAQs are now available on the SRB’s official website to assist taxpayers throughout the filing process.
Taxpayers are strongly urged to take advantage of the extended deadline and file their AIT returns on time to avoid fines or legal complications.
