Hollywood actress Alexandra Daddario is using her platform to advocate for animal welfare, particularly focusing on the adoption of dogs in need.
On Saturday, June 28, the Baywatch star took to Instagram to share a stunning carousel of photos from her recent cover shoot for Social Life magazine.
Alongside the glamorous images, Daddario, 39, shared a heartfelt message emphasizing the importance of pet adoption and animal rescue. “Thank you @sociallifemagazine for having me and for helping to spread the word about the wonderful @nycscr,” she wrote in her caption, referring to NYC Second Chance Rescue, a non-profit organization that rescues and rehabilitates critically injured and neglected animals.
Daddario also introduced her followers to her own rescue dog, Eunice. “We are so grateful for our sweet Eunice, who, despite her initial obstacles in life, still acts like the princess she is every day,” she added.
The actress, who welcomed her first child with husband Andrew Form on October 31, 2024, has long been an advocate for animal rescue.
She adopted Eunice from NYC Second Chance Rescue last year and has previously worked with other animal welfare groups, including Bark ‘N’ Bitches, where she helped foster dogs awaiting adoption.
NYC Second Chance Rescue’s mission is to provide second chances for animals that are critically injured, abused, or abandoned. Daddario’s partnership with the organization is part of her ongoing effort to encourage the public to adopt rather than shop for pets.
In addition to her advocacy work, Daddario is continuing to make waves in her acting career. She is set to star in the upcoming 2026 biographical drama Hershey, which will feature an ensemble cast including Richard Kind, Alan Ruck, and Finn Wittrock.
Through her recent magazine feature and consistent activism, Alexandra Daddario is proving that star power can shine brightest when used for a good cause.
