All New 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid Launched

Honda has launched the all-new 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid worldwide, featuring enhanced style, advanced technology, and an efficient two-motor hybrid powertrain.

Positioned at the top of the lineup, this new Civic Hybrid is expected to achieve nearly 50 mpg combined fuel economy according to EPA estimates. Available as both a sedan and a hatchback, the Civic Hybrid combines the iconic fun-to-drive spirit of the Civic with Honda’s award-winning hybrid system.

The 2025 Civic offers four trim levels: LX (sedan only), Sport, Sport Hybrid, and Sport Touring Hybrid. Hybrid models are set to represent about 40 percent of Civic sales, supporting Honda’s electrification strategy. The sedan version will arrive at dealerships next month, followed by the hatchback later this summer.

New Colors and Design:

The 2025 Civic comes in four new colors: Solar Silver Metallic, Urban Gray Pearl, Blue Lagoon Pearl (exclusive to the sedan), and Sand Dune Pearl (exclusive to the hatchback). The Civic Hybrid boasts 200 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful non-Type R Civic ever. Linear Shift Control enhances the driving experience by mimicking traditional gear shifts, offering quicker performance than the outgoing 1.5L turbo-powered Civic.

Performance and Efficiency:

Honda’s two-motor hybrid system maximizes efficiency without sacrificing performance or space. Four levels of regenerative braking are available through steering wheel paddles, providing a range of control during deceleration. Unique spring and damper tuning, a specially-developed tire, and a comprehensive noise reduction package ensure a smooth, quiet ride. All hybrids include Active Noise Control, and the Sport Touring trim features wheel resonators.

Affordable Options:

The Civic LX and Sport trims continue to feature a responsive and efficient 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. The Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid trims benefit from Honda’s powerful and efficient two-motor hybrid system. Selectable drive modes—Econ, Normal, and Sport—optimize the driving experience for various conditions, with the Sport Touring Hybrid offering a customizable Individual mode.

Exterior and Interior Enhancements:

Every 2025 Civic sports a more aggressive front fascia and grille, along with darker taillights for the sedan. Hybrid trims feature a body-colored headlamp garnish and front lower spoiler, with dark trim and black 18-inch wheels standard on Sport trims. The Sport Touring Hybrid boasts a new machine-finished wheel design. Inside, the refreshed interior now includes a gray color option for all hybrid models.

Furthermore, the Sport Hybrid comes standard with a moonroof, heated front seats, and dual-zone climate control, while the Sport Touring Hybrid adds leather seating, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, and a larger 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Google Built-In:

The Sport Touring Hybrid features Google built-in, including apps like Google Assistant and Google Maps, supported by a complimentary three-year unlimited data plan. This integration allows for hands-free calling, texting, and navigation, enhancing the connected driving experience.

Safety Features:

The 2025 Civic continues Honda’s tradition of safety with advanced active and passive technologies standard on all models. This includes the Advanced Compatibility Engineeringâ„¢ (ACEâ„¢) body structure, designed to protect occupants in various frontal collisions, and advanced supplemental restraint systems.

All models come with the Honda Sensing® suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies, which includes Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™) with Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist System, and Adaptive Cruise Control. Sport models also include Blind Spot with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

The 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid offers a blend of power, efficiency, and advanced technology, setting a new standard in the compact car segment.
