Following grades are available for all new Toyota Alphard:

Grade Z:

The Grade Z is equipped with a 2.5L gasoline engine (2AR-FE) and features the Super CVT-i transmission. It provides two driveline options: 2WD (FF) for front-wheel drive and 4WD for enhanced traction and stability.

Grade Z Hybrid:

The Grade Z Hybrid variant incorporates the Series Parallel Hybrid System with a 2.5L A25A-FXS engine. It is paired with an Electric continuously variable transmission, offering a seamless driving experience. Similar to the Grade Z, it provides the choice between 2WD (FF) and E-Four drivelines.

Elegantly Designed with Expansive Interior Space:

The latest Alphard model showcases an elegant and refined aesthetic while adhering to the size requirements of standard automated parking systems, with a length of 5,000 mm or less and a width of 1,850 mm or less. Despite these constraints, the vehicle maximizes its dimensions to offer a remarkably roomy interior. While minivans often appear flat from a side view, the exterior design of the Alphard exudes a commanding and dignified style.

Powerful Exterior Design: Evoking Strength and Impact

The design team of the all-new Alphard aimed to convey a strong and commanding presence with their “Forceful x IMPACT LUXURY” theme. Drawing inspiration from a charging bull, they strived to establish a sense of solidity and power for the vehicle. To achieve this, the emblem adopts a cutting-edge reverse slant that extends from the front to the back. Furthermore, the sides of the vehicle exhibit dynamic irregularities, reminiscent of a force firmly grounded in the earth, creating a visual impression of the vehicles charging forward.

Spacious Interior: Enhancing Comfort and Roominess

Through meticulous modifications and adjustments, the development team has achieved significant improvements in the interior space of the all-new Alphard. They successfully increased the space between the front and second-row seats by 5 mm, and between the second-row and third-row seats by 10 mm. To achieve these enhancements, the team made changes to the driving position and the construction of the second-row seats. Additionally, they worked on making the side quarter trim on the third row of seats and the backdoor trim thinner, conducting careful iterations with minute 0.1 mm adjustments.

Customer-Centric Hospitality Equipment:

The development team of the all-new Alphard prioritized a luxurious and comfortable customer experience throughout their design process. They carefully analyzed customer usage patterns to identify modifications that would enhance satisfaction. Various equipment was developed and incorporated to provide exceptional hospitality.

In previous generations, lighting, switches, and air conditioning vents were dispersed along the ceiling. However, the team introduced the Super-Long Overhead Console, consolidating these fixtures in the center of the ceiling. This not only streamlines the design but also offers improved convenience and operability, allowing occupants from any seat to open windows on the opposite side and adjust lighting. Additionally, the Alphard introduces Universal Steps on both sliding doors, providing easier access for individuals of all ages. Long assist grips positioned strategically ensure comfortable entry and exit for passengers.

Advanced Safety and Driving-Support Systems:

The Alphard is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense, a comprehensive active safety package, making it the most advanced minivan in terms of safety and driving-support functions.

Proactive Driving Assist – Intra-Lane Steering Assist is a feature that predicts driver inputs and adjusts the steering counterforce. This proactive support ensures smoother driving by minimizing unnecessary operations and preventing delays in steering response.

Improved Driving Experience:

To enhance the comfort of all second and third-row seat occupants, the Alphard has made improvements to the vehicle’s shades. The moonroof now features independently operable right and left-side shades, allowing occupants to choose between enjoying the sky or blocking sunlight. Additionally, Toyota has introduced pull-down side sunshades, enabling customers to block excess sunlight while still enjoying the surrounding scenery.

Assisted Deceleration for Intersection Turns:

Proactive Driving Assist – Deceleration Assist when Turning at Intersections is a feature that becomes active when the vehicle detects an approaching intersection and the driver releases the accelerator pedal while indicating a turn. It provides assistance by facilitating early deceleration, allowing the driver to make left or right turns with increased ease.

Toyota Teammate for Enhanced Driving Support:

The Alphard is equipped with Toyota Teammate, a comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assistance technologies that offer support during parking maneuvers and in traffic jams.

Advanced Park with Remote Function:

Drivers can utilize the “Remote Park” smartphone application to remotely park the vehicle or exit parking spaces, even when they are outside the vehicle. This feature, known as Advanced Park, enhances convenience and ease of use.

Advanced Drive for Congestion Assistance:

Advanced Drive is a functionality that activates under specific conditions: the driver is facing forward, driving on an expressway or dedicated motor-vehicle-only roadway, and has activated Radar Cruise Control and Lane Tracing Assist. It is triggered when the vehicle encounters congested traffic and is moving at speeds between 0 and 40 km/h. This function helps alleviate driver fatigue in heavy traffic situations, allowing the driver to pay closer attention to the surroundings and ensure safe driving practices.
