Apple has officially unveiled its highly anticipated iPhone 17 lineup, introducing major design upgrades, enhanced performance, and cutting-edge display technology.
Alongside the launch, the company has made key changes to its existing iPhone lineup, discontinuing some models while lowering prices on others.
The new lineup was revealed at Apple’s “Awe Dropping” event, where the company announced the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and the flagship iPhone 17 Pro Max. For the first time, every new iPhone model comes with a 120Hz display, providing smoother visuals and improved responsiveness.

With the arrival of the iPhone 17 series, Apple has officially discontinued the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. These models will no longer be sold through official Apple channels, though they may remain available through third-party retailers until stock runs out.

Apple has retained the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus in its lineup but with significant price reductions. The standard iPhone 16 is now priced at $699 with 128GB storage, making it a more affordable entry point for buyers who want modern performance without the premium price tag. The iPhone 16 Plus starts at $799 for the 128GB model, while the 256GB variant is also listed at $799, offering better value for consumers.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 16e continues as Apple’s most budget-friendly option, catering to users who want the Apple ecosystem at a lower cost.
