Apple has announced a significant expansion of its Apple Intelligence features, bringing its advanced personal intelligence system to more users worldwide.
With the rollout of iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4, Apple Intelligence now supports a wider range of languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and simplified Chinese. Additionally, localized English versions are now available for users in Singapore and India. This expansion ensures that Apple Intelligence can be accessed in nearly all regions globally.
For the first time, iPhone and iPad users in the European Union will have access to Apple Intelligence features. Vision Pro users can now proofread, rewrite, and summarize text using Writing Tools, generate text from scratch with ChatGPT integration, create unique visuals with Image Playground, and personalize conversations with Genmoji. This update also introduces additional Apple Intelligence capabilities. New Priority Notifications help users manage time-sensitive communications efficiently, while Mac users can create memory movies simply by typing a description. Additionally, Image Playground now includes a Sketch style, enabling users to produce detailed, academic-style sketches.
Apple continues to emphasize privacy in AI with its Apple Intelligence system. By prioritizing on-device processing, Apple ensures that user data remains secure. For tasks requiring more advanced computing power, Private Cloud Compute extends Apple’s privacy and security protections into the cloud, allowing users to access more sophisticated AI features without compromising their personal data.
