Karachi, April 25, 2025 – The Government of Pakistan has formally announced the official import prices for the latest Apple iPhone 16 variants.
This development marks the first time that Pakistan Customs has released fixed import values specifically for the iPhone 16 series, which will now be used to calculate customs duties and taxes on these high-end smartphones.
Previously, mobile phones including Apple devices were cleared at Pakistani ports based on invoice values presented at the time of import. However, to curb under-invoicing and ensure accurate revenue collection, Pakistan Customs has now established a standardized pricing mechanism for the iPhone 16 lineup. These fixed import prices will serve as a benchmark regardless of the declared invoice by importers.
The new import prices released by Pakistan Customs for different iPhone 16 models are as follows:
• iPhone 16 128GB – $666
• iPhone 16 256GB – $764
• iPhone 16 512GB – $955
• iPhone 16e 128GB – $591
• iPhone 16e 256GB – $688
• iPhone 16e 512GB – $890
• iPhone 16 Plus 128GB – $764
• iPhone 16 Plus 256GB – $868
• iPhone 16 Plus 512GB – $1050
• iPhone 16 Pro 128GB – $878
• iPhone 16 Pro 512GB – $1178
• iPhone 16 Pro 1TB – $1379
• iPhone 16 Pro Max 256GB – $1070
• iPhone 16 Pro Max 512GB – $1278
• iPhone 16 Pro Max 1TB – $1469
These official prices are now applicable to all iPhone 16 units entering Pakistan, and will play a crucial role in streamlining customs clearance processes. The move is expected to enhance transparency and improve the government’s ability to collect duties efficiently.
By formalizing the import pricing structure, Pakistan aims to prevent manipulation of declared values and ensure that taxes are collected in line with the actual market value of these premium devices. Importers and consumers alike are advised to take note of these prices while purchasing or bringing in iPhone 16 models.
The notification by Pakistan Customs reflects the country’s broader efforts to strengthen its import valuation systems and enforce fair trade practices in the smartphone sector.
