Apple is preparing to launch its highly anticipated iPhone 17 lineup next month, with the official announcement expected on September 9, 2025.
While fans await confirmation from Apple, popular case maker dbrand has already revealed the design of the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro through images of its latest Tank case.
The new leak confirms major design changes, particularly in the rear camera module. Previous renders have hinted at the redesigned camera island, and dbrand’s case images now provide additional confirmation. Since case manufacturers receive precise dimensions ahead of launch, these visuals offer reliable insight into Apple’s new flagship.
The leaked Tank case for the iPhone 17 Pro highlights a raised section at the top of the back panel, making space for the larger camera module. This aligns with expectations of a new camera system for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, designed to improve image quality and performance.
The case also reveals cutouts for the Camera Control button, Action button, as well as the traditional power and volume buttons.
Although the Tank case is bulky and doesn’t reveal every fine design detail, it strongly confirms the most notable hardware changes. The redesigned camera island stands out as the biggest visual difference compared to the iPhone 16 series.
The iPhone 17 series is expected to include four models: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Alongside design updates, Apple is rumored to introduce significant hardware improvements across the lineup.
dbrand has confirmed that its Tank case for iPhone 17 Pro will be available in September, right after Apple’s official launch event.
