Apple’s upcoming affordable iPhone is once again making headlines, with fresh leaks hinting at a possible launch later this month. While the company has not officially confirmed any details, recent reports suggest that the new device — likely called the iPhone 17e — could be unveiled around February 19.

A new video shared by popular YouTuber Jon Prosser claims to offer the first look at the much-anticipated iPhone 17e. The leaked footage showcases a design featuring Apple’s Dynamic Island and support for MagSafe charging, sparking excitement among fans.

However, the inclusion of Dynamic Island remains uncertain. Several earlier reports have indicated that Apple may stick to the traditional notch design seen on the iPhone 16e instead of bringing the Dynamic Island feature to its more affordable lineup. If true, this could mean the leak contradicts previous supply chain information.

In terms of overall design, the iPhone 17e is expected to closely resemble its predecessor, although Apple could introduce fresh color options to attract new buyers. Internally, the device is rumored to be powered by the new A19 system-on-chip, promising improved performance and efficiency. The phone may also feature a single 48MP rear camera, continuing Apple’s focus on high-quality photography in its budget-friendly models.

If the Dynamic Island does make its way to the iPhone 17e, Prosser suggests it could include a new 18MP square selfie sensor. Meanwhile, other rumored specifications include a 6.1-inch display with a 60Hz refresh rate and a 4,000mAh battery — similar to the previous generation.

Connectivity upgrades are also expected, with reports pointing to a new C1X modem and N1 wireless network chipset for enhanced performance.

Pricing is rumored to start at $599 for the 128GB variant. If the February 19 launch timeline holds true, official details could arrive as early as next week.
